RADARC Team & Supporters SSB Field Day 2026

The team used a new smart switched dipole, designed and built by Jim G0LHZ, which worked flawlessly during the contest and made band switching fast and trouble free.
We used an Elecraft K4 and had a run station and a spotter station.

Conditions were poor at the start, but started to improve by the early evening and had improved enough on Sunday, to enable us to work many Asian stations in the AA contest.

Despite frequent monitoring of 10m, no QSOs were made there.
The fine weather, great turnout and good company made for a very enjoyable weekend.

Many members from the Reading and Bracknell clubs turned out to help setup run the tranditional evening BBQ and morning cooked breakfast.
