Thames Valley’s leading Amateur Radio Club since 1934.
RADARC is a very active amateur radio club.
Given the current situation with coronavirus we are doing what we can to adapt. We are very much still open for business. We are still meeting, albeit on air and virtually. Activities usually take place on Thursdays starting shortly after 8pm.
Usually in the summer we would be running social and practical events/sessions (“antenna evenings”) at Reading Rugby Football Club. Indeed, once some sort of normality returns we look forward to being able to do that once again.
In the meantime we are putting together a virtual talks and activities programme. We welcome any suggestions there! As this comes together, we’ll keep the website updated. Of course – this is a great opportunity for us all to get on air!
We get that the virtual world may not be for everyone. We are trying to be as accommodating as possible.
Our members and their activities have enabled RADARC to receive the RSGB club of the year in 2010 and 2013 and in 2016 we received the Regional award from the RSGB.
We welcome all who wish to learn about radio and electronics and dates of meetings can be found on our events page.
