We welcome back Neil G3SVN, in person, from Maidenhead and District Amateur Radio Society in a follow up talk to his introduction to Smith Charts. This time he will look at a piece of test equipment which until fairly recently was out of the reach of most radio amateurs: Vector Network Analysers (VNAs).

"The World Radiosport Team Championship is coming to the UK next July. This is the Olympic Games of HF radio contesting. 50 teams of competitors will join referees, judges and spectators from 40+ countries for a week celebrating the best in amateur radio and international camaraderie. 50 identical HF stations will be constructed temporarily in East Anglia to give the entrants a level playing field and let the operators' skills be at the forefront of the competition. Lee G0MTN from the WRTC 2026 Organising Committee will give an overview of the event, progress updates and the latest news, and share details for how you can be involved."

Our very own Ace G0ACE will kindly host our annual photography contest. "The emphasis is on a light-hearted approach, more about the idea and spirit than technical expertise. No need to fork out for a Hassleblad; your mobile phone camera or point and shoot will be just fine."

An informal evening to wander through the streets of maker-land seeing what everyone's been lovingly building and crafting over the winter!
 
Ideas are what we're after! 

Ideally, please let me know if you have something to show just so I can put together an updated meeting invite/running order. Doesn't matter what it is, provided we can get it into the room and is reasonably safe. Doesn't have to be a physical thing. Ideas and enthusiasm for a subject are nice and easy to carry!
