Training
For many years, RADARC ran extremely successful training courses for the Amateur foundation, intermediate and full licences.
Unfortunately RADARC is presently unable to offer training since we presently have nobody able to volunteer to run it. (If you are able to help, please do contact the committee!)
If you are interested in amateur radio, please come along to one of our Construction evenings for a hands-on experience and friendly welcome.
More info can be found on the foundation page.
Intermediate takes you into the more technical side of amateur radio. With a small jump from foundation level, Intermediate is achievable within a slightly more intense two weekends. More info can be found on the intermediate page.
Advanced or Full licence training gives a very in depth look at Amateur radio and a lot more technical knowledge. This course is not run by RADARC directly but run by one of our members. The training usually takes place once a year between September and December. It is a long course but well worth it and is just one evening a week. More info can be found on the advanced page.
